This Eye Gel is based purely on plant extracts and is rich in Vitamin C (not the commonly used synthetic version).
Most other Eye Gels are based on synthetic gelling agents called Carbomer or Carbopol which are drying to skin. When synthetic gelling agents are used yet another ‘unfriendly’ chemical, Triethanolamine, must be used to counter the very high acidity caused by the Carbomer.
This product works so well because it is made purely from very high quality plant extracts. It won't dry out the delicate skin under the eyes as most other eye gels do. We know that the makers of many 'natural' skin care ranges wouldn't know what the original herb looked like if they fell over it!
