Beneficial for all skin types and ages - including babies and children.
Unique nutrient-rich formula (contains 16 concentrated 'medicinal grade' plant, flower and herb extracts) 'buffers' the skin from the three TGA-approved sunscreening ingredients.
As a result, skin does not suffer the common sunscreen issues of congestion, sensitivity, hyper-pigmentation and early aging.
Non-greasy - will not congest the pores.
UVA and UVB protection (broad spectrum) as rated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration in Canberra.
Does not contain PABA, mineral oil, nano particles.

SPF 15+ is our preferred sunscreening factor for most situations. Why? Because most SPF 30 sunscreens expose the skin to a much increased chemical load of the absorber-type sunscreening agents. There are, however, ways around this. An SPF 30 is advised where high-level, continuous sun exposure occurs such as with outdoor occupations. In this case, Simplicité recommends the addition of Zinc Oxide to a sunscreen formula. This reduces the 'chemical load' of the absorber-type sunscreen agents that would otherwise be used. Simplicité does not use nano-particle size metal oxides in our formulae. Any sunscreen with an SPF rating must use TGA-approved sunscreening chemicals: eg. Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Oxybenzone, Zinc Oxide, or Titanium Oxide Great Outdoors Sunscreen SPF15/SPF30 will not darken existing freckles or existing areas of hyper-pigmentation. Strangely, some poorly-formulated sunscreens will worsen areas of hyper-pigmentation due the effect of the chemicals within the skin. Full Ingredient Listing
From David Lyons, creator, formulator and maker of Simplicite Skin Care products:"The topic of sunscreens is a complex business. The subject is of great interest to me having treated skin cancer at the Royal Brisbane Hospital for 7 years as well as brief stints at the Cairns Base Hospital and the Mackay Base Hospital. Simplicité didn't 'choose' to make a sunscreen. For many years we refused to do so because of the necessity to use chemicals in order to gain government TGA permission to label it as a 'sunscreen'.
Eventually, we gave in to repeated customer pressure. We've had to use the TGA approved chemicals to make our sunscreen but we've included lots of plant nutrients to offset the chemicals.
We avoid using nano-particles as sunscreening agents because we believe they congest the pores. This includes the so-called 'invisible zinc' which tends to congest the skin at a deep level.
(Note: Oxybenzone is not benzophenone. It is a derivative of benzophenone in the same way that paracetamol is a metabolite of phenacitin without any of the negative properties of the original compound.)
All ingredients are then balanced with large amounts of soothing, healing, protective, anti-toxin, nutritive plant extracts to guard against any possible side-effects of the sunscreening ingredients."
Simplicité sunscreen is formulated with the inclusion of 16 therapeutic-grade plant extracts which 'buffer' the skin from any negative effects of the sunscreening ingredients.
Other sunscreens, even the expensive ones, don't include these large amounts of soothing, healing, protective, anti-toxin, nutritive plant extracts.
